Galinhos Beach

Every year with the arrival of winds from the east and northeast into Ontario, the School The Hand brings together students, local kitesurfers and other states to take advantage of the North Coast region of Rio Grande do Norte. This kite first trip of the season 2009 – 2010 went to the beach Galinhos. Among the expected names are the French Bruno Sroka and Sebastian Salerno, Spanish Sami Gali, Steph Bridge to English and German Kristin Boese. But the Brazilians also promise to show the warm waters of the sea of Canoa Quebrada. The most prominent are Pedro Montenegro, 4 in the World 2009, Brazilian champion in 2008 and current leader of the Brazilian Ranking 2009; Nayara Licarião, Brazilian champion in 2008 and 3rd place in the World 2009, Wilson Bodet, deputy leader of the Brazilian Ranking 2009, 3rd place Brazilian in 2008, Victor Adamo (Pimpolho), Brazilian champion in 2008, 3rd place in the Ranking Brasileiro 2009, George Feitosa, 4th place in the Brazilian Ranking 2009 and runner-up Brazil in 2008, Carol Davis, runner-up Brazil in 2008, and Carol Homsi, 3rd place in the Brasileiro 2008.

For the event’s four races will be held daily in a total of eight throughout the competition. All categories (male and female) largam simultaneously on a route in a triangular or square, and amended in accordance with the conditions and wind direction.

The kite sailing is the sport that grew most in 2009. Many athletes windsurfing, yachting and sailing sports have joined the sport as it is also much sought after by people who start in kitesurfing.
